Three new card packs launched for Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel on November 7. The Selection Pack "Geas of the Light" features cards based on characters from the original Yu-Gi-Oh anime series, including Yugi's "Shining Sarcophagus" cards and Joey's "Flame Swordsman" series. The pack also contains support cards for existing decks, including "Melodious," "Illusion," and "Snake-Eye." Notable among these additions is "Snake-Eyes Diabellstar," which serves as a new combo piece for Snake-Eye decks.

Two new Secret Packs have also been added to the game. "Illusion Beast's Roar" contains cards for the "Chimera" and "Illusion Beast" archetypes, including the new card "Nightmare Apprentice." The second Secret Pack, "Sugar-Suffused Reverie," focuses on "Madolche" and "Nemleria" cards, featuring additions such as "Madolche Queen Tiarafraise" and "Madolche Mini Meowcaroons."

Snake-Eye remains a prominent deck in competitive play, with Fire King and Rescue-ACE variants also seeing success. Yubel and Tenpai Dragon decks have recently joined the top-tier competitive strategies.

The October update introduced Halloween cards "Hallo, the Spirit of Tricks" and "Ween, the Spirit of Treats," alongside alternate art cards for the "Evil Twin" archetype. The "Melodious" deck type, which first appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V anime series, gains new support cards in the November Selection Pack, including additional Fusion monsters and spell support.
