Steam database records show seven delisted Activision games received mysterious updates last week, sparking speculation about their potential return to digital storefronts.
The affected titles include the 2013 release Deadpool, three Transformers games, and multiple Marvel titles that were removed from sale due to expired licensing agreements. According to the user Knoebel, the updates appear to add new store screenshots to the games' otherwise inaccessible store pages.

The Steam updates include 2013's Deadpool, both Marvel Ultimate Alliance games from 2006 and 2009, and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions from 2010. Three Transformers titles also received updates: Devastation (2015), War for Cybertron (2010), and Fall of Cybertron (2012).
Activision removed Deadpool from digital stores in 2014 when its Marvel license expired, though the game briefly returned in 2015 to coincide with the theatrical release of the first Deadpool film. The company's Transformers titles suffered a similar fate in 2017, leaving physical copies as the only legal means to acquire these games.
As a result, physical copies of these games have seen significant price increases in secondary markets, as shown by recent Deadpool listings reaching up to $50,000.
Microsoft's pending acquisition of Activision Blizzard has previously hinted at the possibility of reviving delisted Transformers games, but no official announcements have been made regarding the restoration of any titles to digital storefronts.
