The Steam Deck OLED will receive a white limited edition variant on November 18, priced at $679 / £599 / €719. Unlike last year's translucent model, which was restricted to North America, this version will be available in all regions where Steam Deck currently ships.
The new model features a white outer shell with gray buttons and joysticks, packaged with a matching white carrying case. Internally, it maintains identical specifications to the standard 1TB OLED version.
Since the Steam Deck's 2022 launch, color options have remained limited. The standard black version has dominated the market, and last year's orange translucent special edition, which launched alongside the OLED model's debut, only reached US and Canadian customers. This limited availability has led many users to use third-party shells and skins for customization options.
Kaci Aitchison Boyle, Valve's communications chief, states the company will monitor response to this release to guide decisions on future color variants. Meanwhile, Valve's engineering teams are focusing on developing future hardware iterations, though they emphasized the need for substantial improvements in mobile computing performance before advancing to a next-generation device.
Sales begin at 3 PM PST / 11 PM GMT on November 18 through official Steam channels. Valve has confirmed this white edition will be a limited production run, and once the initial inventory sells out, there are no plans to restock.
