Polyphony Digital has confirmed five new vehicles and expanded artificial intelligence features coming to Gran Turismo 7 in update 1.54, in a recent official blog post. The update, which will be activated on November 21, is currently available for download.
Porsche Mission X '23
Porsche unveiled this all-electric concept car in June 2023. The design features roof-hinged doors and active aerodynamics. Porsche designed it to lap the Nürburgring faster than the 918 Spyder, though exact specifications remain unreleased.
Porsche 911 Turbo S (992) '20
The 992-generation Turbo S stands as the fastest 911 variant, with a twin-turbo 3.8-liter engine producing 640 horsepower. Zero to 60 mph takes 2.6 seconds through its eight-speed PDK transmission and all-wheel drive system.
Ford Escort RS Cosworth '92
Ford created this turbocharged hot hatch with all-wheel drive and a distinctive double-deck rear wing. Built as a homologation special for rallying, the Escort Cosworth used a 2.0-liter engine producing 227 horsepower. Recent auction sales have exceeded $250,000 for original examples.
Mercedes-Benz W 196 R '55
Mercedes-Benz dominated Formula 1 with this championship-winning car from its first grand prix era. Its straight-eight engine sat behind the front axle, powering Fangio to the 1955 title. It is notable for its streamlined body and exposed wheels, depending on the circuit configuration.
Suzuki Jimny Sierra JC '18
Suzuki built this export version of its compact 4x4 for markets outside Japan. The Sierra runs wider and more powerful than the Japanese kei car model, using a 1.5-liter engine with 100 horsepower. It retains the ladder frame chassis and low-range transfer case of the narrow-body variant.
Beyond the new vehicles, GT Sophy artificial intelligence will expand to Trial Mountain and Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise, alongside three new racing events: the Jimny Cup at Grand Valley South, Porsche Cup at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and Race of Turbo Sportscars at Mount Panorama Circuit.
Additional features will include Rotiform aftermarket wheels, Colorado photography locations in Scapes mode, and a new Extra Menu that will reward players for collecting the Ferrari F40, F50, and Enzo models.
The full changelog for update 1.54 will be available when it launches on November 21.
