Reddit user QFGBook posted images of a spiral-bound book titled Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game, a fan-created tabletop RPG from the early 2000s. The print-and-play game was based on the first two installments of the video game series.

QFGBook reports the RPG was developed with user Ausir and No Mutants Allowed community members. The game drew from Fallout, Fallout 2, and Wasteland.

Several users commented in the Reddit thread that they had played this tabletop adaptation regularly in the early 2000s. According to QFGBook, this is one of the few surviving physical copies of the rulebook.

The No Mutants Allowed community, where this RPG originated, was a prominent fan site during the early years of the Fallout series. The site hosted discussions, mods, and fan content on the original Black Isle games.

For context, the Fallout series began with Black Isle Studios' release in 1997, followed by Fallout 2 in 1998. Bethesda Softworks took over the franchise in 2008 with Fallout 3, later releasing Fallout 4 in 2015 and Fallout 76 in 2018.

The franchise now includes various licensed tabletop games. In 2023, Magic: The Gathering also produced Fallout cards as part of its Universes Beyond series.
