Blizzard announced that it will release patch 2.0.5 for Diablo IV on November 19. All non-Spiritborn classes will receive significant buffs, while the dominant Spiritborn class will get only minor adjustments. However, lead class designer Adam Z. Jackson warned during last week's Campfire Chat that these buffs won't bring other classes even close to Spiritborn's power level until Season 7.
These buffs will include Barbarian's ground stomp rising from 35 per cent to 80 per cent and death blow from 120 per cent to 140 per cent. Rogue's twisting blades will increase from 54 per cent to 70 per cent, while rapid fire will grow from 33 per cent to 40 per cent. Sorcerer's meteor damage will grow from 96 per cent to 120 per cent, and enhanced hydra will gain an additional head with 50 per cent more damage. Druid's lupine ferocity will increase from 70 per cent to 100 per cent, and Necromancer's bone storm will jump from 180 per cent to 300 per cent.
"We're moving everything a little closer together to set up for the next season where there will be a lot more upheaval," said Jackson, "But until then, enjoy what you've got now while it's there."
The Spiritborn class will receive only minor tweaks, including an increase to withering fist poison damage from 30 per cent to 36 per cent and fixes to soar ability targeting on controllers.
The patch will also add echo of hatred to party finder, update difficulty selection icons, and improve legion event chest rewards.
