Bungie has revealed its new Tomb of Elders activity during a developer livestream. Set to launch on November 19 alongside Revenant Act II, this activity will continue the story of Fikrul, the Fanatic, and bring a reimagined version of the original Destiny's Prison of Elders to Destiny 2.
Tomb of Elders will combine elements from fan-favorite activities, including Deep Dives and Riven's Lair, featuring a mix of combat encounters and traversal sections. Players will progress through cryopod encounters, faction fights in randomized arenas, and boss battles before claiming rewards in the Warden's office.
The activity will introduce a new reputation system called Warden's Judgment. Completing bonus objectives will earn Warden's Favor stacks, which will increase difficulty and rewards, while negative performance will result in Warden's Punishment, slightly lowering the challenge level.
Three new weapons will join the arsenal in Act II: the Arc submachine gun Noxious Vetiver, the Void shotgun Scavenger's Fate, and a reprised Gridskipper pulse rifle from Season of the Splicer. Each weapon will feature new perk combinations focused on close-quarters combat.
The update will include five new artifact perks: Authorized Mods: Melee, Emergency Flare, The Thick of It, Curative Orbs, and Arc Compounding. These perks will expand build crafting options for the current episode. Significant changes will also arrive for PvE gameplay, with roaming Super abilities recharging two to three times faster than standard rates.
Finally, Iron Banner will return on November 26, featuring a new armor set and weapons.
