Bungie has released the update 8.1.5 for Destiny 2, bringing Episode Revenant Act II with comprehensive combat changes, new activities, and the next part of the storyline, as stated in the official patch notes.
The Prismatic subclass cooldown increased 15 per cent in PvP, while Storm's Edge super damage resistance decreased to 45 per cent with damage height reduced from five to 3.75 meters. In PvE, roaming supers now generate triple energy from damage events and deal between 30 and 55 per cent additional damage to Champions, excluding the Celestial Nighthawk Golden Gun variant.
Further fixes restored Eriana's Vow's critical damage in PvP and addressed High Ground perk stacking issues in competitive play. Telesto received a 20 per cent PvE detonation damage increase, and both Thorn and Lumina hand cannons gained five stability points. The Aggressive hand cannon archetype now deals three per cent more damage, allowing two-crit-one-body kills across all resilience levels.
Act II opens Tomb of Elders and Gauntlet of Elders activities with three new weapons: Noxious Vetiver arc submachine gun, Scavenger's Fate void shotgun, and Gridskipper void pulse rifle. The update includes 50 seasonal pass ranks and new artifact perks alongside fresh Tonics and Fieldwork missions.
Technical fixes resolved chest access and encounter initialization in Vesper's Host, preventing nuclear core duplication and rally barricade exploits. Updates to Onslaught: Salvation removed ability-related crashes and adjusted Cabal rocket frequency in boss encounters.
Finally, as compensation for recent weapon perk weighting issues, Banshee now offers god roll versions of six previously affected weapons.
