The first major content drop for Black Ops 6 is arriving November 14th, bringing fresh battlegrounds that range from luxurious art galleries to abandoned castles. This season introduces three new multiplayer maps, meaningful changes to Zombies mode, and a creative new game type that turns soldiers into high-stakes thieves.

The multiplayer offerings are headlined by Heirloom, an opulent art gallery that transforms fine art appreciation into close-quarters combat. Players will trade bullets among priceless sculptures and pristine lobbies, making for a uniquely upscale battlefield. They'll also get access to Hideout, a tactical training facility designed for intense indoor engagements, while the fan-favorite Hacienda map from Black Ops 4 makes its return mid-season.

A new mode called Ransack adds a fresh twist to the traditional formula, challenging players to locate and secure gold bars while defending their team's stash from enemy raiders. For those who manage to rack up 900 points in a single life, the new Hand Cannon scorestreak delivers devastating power with high-penetration rounds capable of one-shot eliminations.

The Zombies experience is becoming more accessible with the introduction of Directed mode, which clearly marks objectives and caps rounds at 15 to create a more structured narrative experience. This update also introduces a new medieval-themed map featuring an abandoned castle and surrounding village for undead-slaying enthusiasts.

Competitive players can look forward to a new ranked mode, while Warzone integration brings Black Ops 6's movement system and weaponry to the battle royale experience. The new Area 99 Resurgence map adds another battlefield for Warzone specialists to master.

The season's arsenal expands with several new weapons, including an unconventional power drill for melee enthusiasts. New Operators join the roster as well, including one that bears a striking resemblance to the protagonist from the PS3 title Haze.

Activision has acknowledged ongoing spawn issues, with developers actively working on spawn tuning improvements after players reported appearing in enemy killcams before selecting their loadouts.
