Crowbar Collective, the studio behind Black Mesa, the fan remake of Half Life, has announced its next game, Rogue Point, a cooperative tactical shooter planned for early access release in 2025. It will support up to four players in PvE missions across procedurally generated environments.

The studio's first original IP focuses on corporate warfare in a near-future setting. Players control a team of operatives fighting against private military forces hired through an app called MERX. Missions will take place across four locations: airports, malls, offices, and oil rigs, with maps dynamically altered by the game's "parametric design system".

CEO and Project Lead Adam Engels confirmed the game will emphasize team-based tactical gameplay, with pre-mission planning and loadout customization similar to the Rainbow Six series. Players will be able to unlock weapons, cosmetics, and mission modifiers throughout the campaign, leading to what the developers describe as an "ultra-hard endgame mission."

Crowbar Collective stated that they will not include PvP elements, focusing exclusively on PvE content. The game will follow a traditional buy-to-play model without in-game purchases. Team17 will publish the title.

"Just like Black Mesa, we want to heavily involve the community in our development and updates," Engels said. "Having Team17 as a partner helps us focus on development and community feedback."
